Learn about our forest school classes.

We meet our friends and forest school community at Braywick Nature Centre on Fridays at 10.

Strolling through the woods, we admire the trees and the ever-changing seasons.

By the pond, we pause to look for frogs and dragonflies, watching the water ripple with life.

Free to run, we explore the woodland, filling our lungs with the fresh forest air.

We climb the steps to the top of the reclaimed landfill site, now filled with trees, grasses, and flowers.

At the top, the woodland classroom awaits, a space where we are free to play, climb, and balance.

With leaves, sticks, stones, and soil, we craft, create, explore, and discover the wonders of nature.

We search for bugs, build shelters, and solve problems together.

We connect with the natural world, and experience something bigger than ourselves..

There’s also the opportunity to sit quietly and read a good book.

Whilst children play, feeling safe and heard, parents and carers enjoy a hot drink.

As our time together comes to an end, we gather to mix, measure, pour, and create.

A simple snack, cooked over the fire, becomes a moment of warmth and community.

We depart with a goodbye song, and head on home.

Until next week, when we gather once again.
